The basic range includes both products from TAMIYA, the Japanese market leader in RC electric cars, and our own CARSON models.
THE DICKIE-TAMIYA STORY
1986: DICKIE-TAMIYA becomes the German representative of Tamiya.
1988: Cutting of the first sod for the German facility in Sonneberg, Thuringia.
1993: Wolfgang Sauerborn, owner of DICKIE-TAMIYA and DICKIE TOYS, is killed in an accident. Both firms are taken over by Simba Toys.
1994: Market launch of CARSON-MODEL SPORT.
2007: CARSON-MODEL SPORT extends its product range to include
radio-controlled helicopters.
2011: 15th TAMIYA FIGHTER-CUP and 20th TAMIYA EUROCUP racing series, with the finale held at Sonneberg.
